Take a tax credit for culture!
Now you can double the impact of your contribution to Hillsboro Community Arts and enjoy a tax credit at the same time.
In 2002, the Oregon Legislature approved the Oregon Cultural Trust, an innovative long-term funding plan to preserve and strengthen Oregon's cultural organizations. According to their Web page, "The Oregon Cultural Trust is a long-term funding plan for preserving and strengthening Oregon's arts, heritage and humanities. The Trust is funded in part by private contributions made by individuals and corporations who receive a tax credit on their Oregon income tax when they (1) donate to a nonprofit cultural organization and (2) donate to the Oregon Cultural Trust."
